In America, we are an amalgamation of people, cultures and traditions.
Often a brewery’s portfolio will center around one brewing culture and country, such as specializing in German lagers, English ales or one of the many regional styles from Belgium (northern monastic beer, Flanders reds, Senne Valley lambic or Wallonian farmhouse saisons).
A different story and tradition comes with all of 13thMoon Brouwerij’s historically inspired beers—recipes will be crafted following time-honored traditions from various cultures that were popular before the advent of industrial brewing, drawing from the history of beer as a whole.
Like paintings from different eras created with different methods and philosophies, each offering will be approached differently while staying undeniably a 13thMoon Brouwerij beer. Giving a nod to these historic styles with an artistic eye will keep the beer standing out and the drinker wanting more.

Inspired by the heritage of iconic breweries like Belgium’s Westvleteren and Cantillon, or the Netherlands' De Molen, 13thMoon Brouwerij follows a carefully crafted limited-release schedule. This approach lends a sense of mystery and exclusivity, similar to the cult appeal found at breweries like Russian River, The Alchemist, Hill Farmstead, and Jester King.

Since the early concepts of 13thMoon Brouwerij were born nearly a decade ago, founder Ari J Moss has anticipated shifts in beer culture—predicting the surge in appreciation for specialized brews over mass-produced options. As craft beer culture has evolved from neighborhood dive bars to dedicated bottle shops and rotating-tap establishments, 13thMoon has awaited the right moment to offer a selection that meets the curiosity of the most discerning palates.
